AP Custom Shotshell Holder

I used to use carbons arms for load 2s. They worked great. Only complaint about those is that they tend to turn if bumped but are easily put back into place. I recently tried out a friends invictus 2.8s and love them. Great for throwing quads and you can still do load 2s from them. Needless to say I ended up ordering a couple along with a DeTurk vest.

The current generation of Carbon Arms has two mounting screws so this is no longer an issue.

Got a pair of 2.8's from Invictus Practical. these seem to be the caddy with the latest improvements learned from the ones that were available prior to IP hitting the market. Good quality all around. this is the latest go to gear with the SG guys. The two Pauls will be taking these to the world shoot in Italy

My AP Customs L2/6 is going in the junk box after today's match.

Overpriced POS that's only good for standing in one place. God forbid you have to move quickly or shoot from an odd position. Bendy crap shell holders, too.

Edit: Any Taccom or Invictus Practical dealers in Canada? Very impressed with what I saw of both of those at the match today.

I agree with you Stevo, the AP is a very poor design. It's hard to imagine that they did any real life testing at all. I'm going to try modding mine again as I couldn't sell them in good conscience. At least there are other options and more every day as the sport explodes growth wise.

I think I'll hand mine down to my boy once I fix the retainers. It's still better than what he's using and avoids the ethical dilemma! ;)

It is a tool for a specific job. We tested things out and I could reload with an L2/6 almost as fast as I could reload a mag fed shotgun. It is a very effect design for that.
BUT
Your right, if you are in adverse conditions you have an easier time spilling shells out everywhere.

So, you pick the correct holder for the type of match your going into. Some CoF don't see that much movement. Some make you crawl through the dirt. Choose accordingly.

(Disclaimer, that being said I have ONLY used the L2/6 for dropping deuces and no other type for dual or quad method)
