i bought a apc223, the factory trigger is good, but atill too heavy for me if i want to get smaller group. i wonder are there third party match trigger for apc223? i heard Elftmann match pro will fit. i wonder anyone tried this trigger? and who can order it?

thanks

I tried several different Geissele triggers as well as Timney and Trigger Tech with zero success. In all cases, the Bolt Carrier binds against the Hammer, slowing and /or outright stopping the Bolt Carrier dead in its tracks. Like you, I heard that Elftman Triggers work in the APC family so I sourced one through the only route that I could find, which ended up being the 3rd Party Importer that goes un-named here on CGN due to a cost of advertising dispute.

#####ch Armoury is the importer, based out of Penticton, BC. That ought to be enough for a Google search if CGN censors the name. The only down-side to using am importer is the 3-month wait to receive the Trigger, but beggars can't be choosers in this case. Nobody in Canada that I could find actually carries the Elftman brand triggers on-hand.

In any case, the Elfthman Trigger works very well in the APC firearms. I have it in my APC 308, where it is a critical upgrade if you want to wring maximum accuracy out of the system. I got the adjustable version with the skeleton trigger which is very nice indeed. You won't be disappointed with the Elftman Trigger when it finally shows up.

Come to thnk of it, Wolverine Suppolies should stock the Elftman Triggers as the only available upgrade for their B+T APC triggers....

CTCS used to carry the Elfthmann triggers I bought 3 from them in the past, but it seems they only stock their AR safties now.

They are great triggers my favorite actually but the first one I ever got the hammer expolded into pieces, warrenty replacement was a hastle so I ended up buying another one. The hammer on the newer one was redsigned and not nearly as skeletonized as the first one was. Never had a problem after that

I had one in a STAG 10 .308 and it was fantastic in that also

So Bartok, just to confirm a guiselle trigger in the apc308 is a no go? Ty

Correct, at least insofar as the APC 308 is concerned. I did not test my Elftman in my APC 223, so cannot vouch 100% for the 223 guns. Seeing as how the Bolt Carrier and Hammer interface is the same on the 223 rifles as the .308, I am pretty sure that the Geisseles will not function in the APC 223, but that is subject to someone confirming with a test-fitting.
