APC 9k pro assembly quick question

I have disassembled my APC 9k pro for cleaning purpose and when I try to reassemble the firearm it seems that the security bolt can go through the charging handle hole either from the left side or from the right side of the firearm. It always fit. So which is the correct side to put in the bolt in or it does not really matter?

Please kindly advise.

I am not talking about the charging handle. I am about the security bolt (or pin) that the go through the hold of the charging handle and the hole of the bolt assembly. It seems can go through both ways.
 
The cross pin that goes through the bolt inserts from the right side of the receiver once you have the holes lined up at the rear.
Not sure if it matters either, but that’s how they come.
 
According to the reassembly instructions, ´The bolt securing pin can be inserted on both sides of the receiver depending on the users desire.’ So, on other words, no, it does not matter from which side it goes in.
