APC223 Non restricted whos getting one ?

im with you guys. i love this gun and i didnt even know it existed until it got an FRT.
does anyone know if the lower is the "receiver"?
if i bought one of these id like to be able to swap uppers like an AR, if they are available separately?

The rcmp going at it again, and a guy going to court for it in Ontario.
The underlying concern is broader than just the Beowulf mags, the way they've worded it leaves room for them to go after other inter-changeable mag configurations.
Quality costs, you don't get a Toyota for the same price as a Hyundai or Kia for a reason, you can have disposable crap built with cheap materials for less money up front or you can have a quality product built to last for more initial investment.
Ummmm a Benelli MR1 ? bought mine used for $1200. And what do you mean about AR's ??! you can buy new and used COLT's for under 2k , are u suggesting those arnt good quality ?
The MR1 is the last thing from a black rifle. Heck I wouldn't take one if someone gave it to me for free.
AR's are restricted and useless since they are range only paperweights. So I dont see why they keep getting brought up in threads about NR rifles.
I started this thread to talk to people about a quality made swiss gun. I dont care if you think it's too expensive, go start your own thread about prices, or better yet go buy a POS T97 and go enjoy your bargain basement chinese made crap.
I used to b!tch and moan about prices of firearms when I first got into guns 5 years ago, Now instead of moaning and b!tching, I work a 2nd job to feed my addiction.

I never said that the gun should be priced at $2000. Regardless of quality, I simply don't want one bad enough to pay $4G.
You started a thread titled "APC223 Non restricted whos getting one ?" and then you throw a hissy when people say that they're not getting one because of the price tag.
1 a bare 6920 is 1200$usd by the time irg has it to your door you are looking at very close to 2k, colt canada is over 2k, dd over 2k
2 we're not talking used guns here, thats just plain silly comparing new prices to used prices
3 benelli mr1 is really not the same thing, worlds apart, a new mr1 is 2100 at wholesale sports

I kind of agree with the others, the MR1 just like the SU-16 are not really black rifles. Yes they have some features similar to a true black rifle, but it's just not there. It's like calling a stock subaru a super car. It is not the same but is more of an affordable and practical option as a daily driver.
i was always surprised at the cost of a swiss, then I took one apart, and I understood everything. Its like the hand of god made that rifle. The attention to perfection is absolute. These swiss dudes must all have severe ocd.
