Just bought a NR one. Mine is stamped 223 rem, interesting that this one is stamped 5.56x45

Can i shoot factory 5.56 in the NR 223 one?

You can shoot 223/5.56 in a 5.56 barrel but you can't shoot 5.56 in a 223 rem barrel.

Interesting that a European rifle wouldn’t be metric and compatible with 5.56

5.56 doesn't work well in my APC223 from the very first NR batch with 1 in 9 twist barrel. Goes over pressure and pops primers.

Still haven’t shot it. I have over 1000 rounds of 5.56 unfortunately, Winchester white box, federal and hornady frontier

Isn't gas port position for rifle length gas system exactly at 12 inches?
