APC308 parts question - butt stock

I'm hoping someone can help me solve this issue. I have a APC308 1st gen with what I think they call the "DMR stock" which is too low for a mounted scope (ironic, I know).

Can someone help me figure out what B&T parts are for the APC223/308 pro 2nd gen stock similar to the Scar or
the Haga adapter for an acr stock. With the haga adapter will I still have the capability to fold the stock?

Is there a better stock option for the APC308?

You can use the APC 223/300/308 compatible
B&T non-adjustable folding stock
B&T telescoping and folding stock
B&T Pro Series stock (similar to ACR)
B&T ACR adapter and ACR stock
B&T AR adapter (accepts all AR buffer tubes and stock components, and hinge mechanisms)

Third party manufacturers also offer ACR and 1913 stock adapters.

The only thing that you have to really watch out for is to make sure that you're getting the rifle version of the stock or stock adapter and not the PCC version. Some come with buffers pre-installed, others do not... buffers are expensive.

I saw someone made a nice wooden cheek riser and stained it dark. It had a nice wood stain smell. Securing it looked tricky and he used some flexible wire to secure it since the cross bolts he used didn't seem to provide enough pressure to clamp it in without it sliding around during fire. He had it nearly in line with the top rail so cheek weld was mint.

Since the stock piece can slide off the tube receiver extension folding thing, I suspect you could make a really really nice stock if you're good working with wood. Plus I think if you could get some nice grain wood and stain it nice and put some wood panels on the MLOK it's be nicer to carry since the front end is metal and cold metal sucks heat right out of the hand. Are wood MLOK panels a thing?

The B&T ACR stock adapter with ACR stock is the best option but Magpul has discontinued the ACR stock. You can still buy from US website though.

I am not suggesting that you buy mine on the EE, but this is a lower-cost example of what can be done with a bit of Kydex, a round Dowell for shaping the curve, and some Black, short, "Chicago" screws. A very helpful local CGNer helped me with mine, which was super kind of him!

You don't HAVE to spend $800 on the new B+T buttstock if the standard LOP fits you. In that case, you just need a Cheek-Riser. Kydex can do that for you cheaply and fairly easily. It is a lightweight, weather-proof, cold-weather warm-to-touch solution to the problem.

Thanks for that idea.

I just really dislike the styling and design of that stock so I'd rather replace it.
