Just because you think something sucks doesn't mean someone else should have theirs banned and taken away. I own a T97. I would love to have a Tavor but can't afford it. Next your gonna tell me my T97 is a piece of #### as well. And why? Because it wasn't around in your glory days of the 1950s? I can keep up with any of the open sight AR I meet at the club. When someone is worried their rifle is going to be banned "its a piece of #### anyway" is a completely douche answer.

It was likely wishful thinking on the part of that smug a**hat. It's turning out that whoever told him that was full of crap and he was idiot enough to repeat hearsay rumors. I'll take it for what it's worth,alright....BULLSHYTE,pure and simple.

Should have gotten his name and reported him for harassment intimidation. At the very least he would have been told by his superior to stop saying it.

That would do no good,whatsoever. If you really want to get under the skin of jackas**s like that,as soon as they spew their anti-gun crap,look them straight in the eye and with a straight face tell them that if citizens are to be disarmed,the Police won't need their firearms anymore,either,so,they will be disarmed forthwith,also. If that doesn't outright send them to Sphincter Factor 10,it will give them pause to re-evaluate their rhetoric because to argue against it,they would have to admit that if citizens didn't have guns,then,crooks would be the only ones who would have them,a afct which is consistently absent when Police advocate for disarming society. The one constant thing in the psyche of every Copper is that laws only apply to us lesser peons and not them. When faced with the idea that their nonsense will be instantly turned against them,they start shaking like a dog shytting razor blades.
 
Also why does the tavor suck? I heard it was the very best from all sorts of legit sources. Must be the anti Semitism coming out.

I have shot 3 different Tavors, including mine. The only issue I have ever had is shooting support side and crowding the ejection port which is the stance I use when shooting ARs. I get brass ejecting onto my face and back into the port causing type 2 jams, sometimes with 3 rounds in the chamber. I've learnt to shoot more center of chest on my support side and the problem is resolved.
And the Israelis have not designed a bad gun ( except maybe the Desert Eagle...cou:)
