What does everyone use to apply bore cleaning solvent? I know solvent bottles can be purchased through a place like Sinclair International and some guys use things like eye droppers. Just curious what you guys are using to get the solvent on the brushes, patches, etc.

syringe on barrel mop- my doc gave me a big one that'll hold a couple of oz- just flush afterwords with soap and water

I use small plastic .99 bottles with small extruded tips that I got from WSS.

I have another shooter friend who uses ones like the pic below:

I've been contaminating my solvent for about 45 years now. I feel OK with it. I've been told I have let progress pass me by. Oh, well. Regards, Bill.

I don't pour solvent on the brush or dip the brush in the solvent. I push a couple of patches soaked with solvent through the barrel first, then use the brush.

X2 but now use wipeout.:D DAN>>>

++ for Wipeout. I used it for the first time this weekend and was blown away by how much copper and powder it pulled from the barrel. I consider myself pretty anal regarding bore cleaning, I did usual with my normal solvent till the patches came out clean and then went at it with the Wipeout, I was almost ashamed at how the patches looked. I followed the instructions provided and used only a patch - amazing. Anybody tried it with a brush?

Cheers
