Hey guys,

I'm looking for a business that could appraise an M305 in Edmonton. If anyone has any suggestions on value, here are the specs:

The firearm is in excellent condition and has been well maintained, cleaned after every outing, with about 800 rounds downrange. It has a brown USGI fibreglass stock with excellent checkering but some paint marks (could do with a repaint). There is a USGI handguard, rear sight, NM front post sight, USGI recoil spring, Gen2 S&J spring guide, one 20/5 magazine, three 5/5 magazines, and three AIA 10/10 magazines (the ones from the Aussie Enfield lookalike rifle).

I think you could expect $650-$800 out of it in the EE.

It all depends if it has been tuned or not.... You don't mention if the barrel was indexed properly or not or wether the op-rod guide has been knurled and/or glued in place....

The base rifle is worth $450(IMHO), add $100 for the stock, and $100 for the USGI rear sight and FH. I'm not sure anything else really adds any value..... The 10 rnd mags are probably worth $45-$50 each.

Were you looking to sell it, or just looking for a ball park price?

Replacement cost (for insurance) would likely run a bit higher.....

If you would like clarification on any of the above, feel free to PM!

Cheers!

Many M305 buyers want the DIY experience. Don't expect anyone to pay a premium for
your customization, unless you can provide documentation on USGI parts. IMHO.
