Appraising a Dan Wesson 22

Hi all,

I've had a Dan Wesson .22LR revolver, with an 8" barrel, for some time. Recently, a friend has expressed interest in purchasing the gun from me. I'm debating selling it, but honestly have no idea what the value would be.

It has some scratches, but nothing major. The wood grip is in worse shape than the blue finish, I suspect it was tossed around while in a holster.

Can anyone tell me what market value on this revolver might be?

you can find info by looking through the EE and the used handguns pages of the various vendors, at the very least you can see what other similar types are going for.

even googleing the model with "price" comes up with some stuff

$400-500. They are very accurate 22's. - dan
