I wanted to say thanks to Joel, Kim, Lane and the Prophet River team for the assistance both before and after my recent optics purchase.
I ordered a scope and matching optic mount from the same brand, and everything arrived great.
However I did notice that since the last time I purchased this brand of optic mounts, the small fastener hardware was now a shiny (stainless steel?) instead of blackened version. No real issue, except that it would drive me nuts knowing that one of my previously purchased accessory mounts would be inconsistent, haha. Anyway, I inquired with the manufacturer who confirmed that this particular model does come with stainless fastener hardware, but the torque specs are still the same. They then offered to send me some extras so the particular build would be consistent.
For various reasons, the manufacturer couldn’t send to me directly, but were able to do so via Prophet River. I would like to thank Prophet River for after-sale assistance to facilitate the procurement of these. Thanks again!
