As it says, I'm a newbie to this site. I have owned guns since I was fourteen, first controlling the gopher and crow populations in Manitoba and later hunting ducks, geese and deer. I ran trap lines in highschool and now, some 30 years later, I have discover IPSC. Growing up in a small prairie village (under 500 people) I learned to do almost all of my own maintenance and repairs of my own guns since I was that 14 year old lad. The experience, advice and education available on this site is nothing short of phenomenal. I have found answers to things I hadn't even figured out how to ask about. I've always been taught that knowledge was for sharing and it seems I am not alone in that thinking. I hope I can contribute to this site without getting my foot lodged too deeply in my throat or at the very least to help generate some ideas for repairs for the people who may not have a lot of tooling or experience. I wish I had found GunNutz years ago !!

you are absolutly right! this site is amazing. i wish i had know about it long ago also. i spend most of my time off here, it is very addicting. just when you think you have seen it all here, you are wrong. i am still finding cool stuff on this site. welcome to CGN.
