i have hunted in them and camped. they sure bring a whole new level to the game. the 14x16 is on my list. but i just spent that on my new hunting rifle. maybe next year. canopy of my truck hasnt failed me yet.

For anybody who doesn't need a woodstove/airtight heater in a tent take a look at the Kodiak Flex Bow Tent at Cabelas US or google Kodiak Canvas and look at the full range. The 10x14 is available at Cabelas USA but not at Cabelas Canada to date due to not being Canadian fire retardant approved). It is canvas with a sewn- in floor and is easy for even one person to set up and is incredibly stable in the worst weather. You can touch the walls and it won't leak but it breaths well. The walls are near-vertical so you can stand up and walk around. I wanted a big sturdy 3-season tent and there is nothing like a canvas tent for lousy weather. (As I posted earlier on this thread I have a stove-ready Woods shack tent for hunting in the fall and early winter.)

The Kodiak is expensive but worth every dime if you are a hardcore "outdoorsman". (Note political incorrectness here! Sorry ladies!)

I have a 16x20 from Northwest Shelters. Great tent made with the same Sunforger Canvas as other manufactures but much lower price. Love the double zipper roll up door that usually costs extra with other manufactures. I got my 16x20 on a cash deal for 1700$ all in this past summer.

If I ordered in that tent, the only improvement would be a wider front door flap.
Don't want the bugs getting by that narrow overlap.

The front door zips up and there's two doors. A screen for keeping bus out and the main door. I think you can order it with the typical door flap too.
