I only have a 1lb one to go by as I build my storage box. If someone has a few typical 4lb or 8lb ones around could you give me an approx height and width. I may never purchase more than 1lb containers but it would be nice to accommodate something larger if I did.

Seems to vary a lot based on the type of powder:
"Have some 4# jugs of Green Dot & 2400 that are much larger than some 8's."
