Approximate value? Czech 1924 in 308?

I saw a Czech mauser 1924 short rifle in 7.62 Nato full military. Looks to be all matching. Condition is very good. I have never heard of a 7.62 mauser but this one has markings and stamped 7.62. Any ideas? Thanks

It's an Israeli conversion, fairly common. $300-$400 if it's in exc condition.

I didn't realize that the Israeli's converted 1924 Czech Mausers to 7.62mm. I thought it was just the WWII German surplus.

If it's marked somewhat like this one, that's what it is......

The Czechs sold Israel an assload of rifles after WWII. There are also some built on FN actions too.

Very Very similar, BadgerDog. Even the Stock was marked 7.62. I passed for now. Too many guns, or so I am told.

My Israeli .22LR conversion, was done on Czech rifle as well. Either that, or a German rifle was outfitted with a Czech floorplate and trigger guard. Either explanation is equally as likley I suppose.
