Hi,

I've been offered a few milsurp rifles in a trade and one of them is an FN Model 1950 Mauser in 30-06. The condition is good+ with an excellent bore, and it has not been altered.

I don't know yet whether this is a Belgian Army issue rifle or a foreign contract (e.g., South American). Can anyone give me a rough idea of value, and if there's any difference in pricing depending on which country originally purchased the rifle? My initial thought is $350-$400.

Price sounds about right. There was one floating around the Duncan shows last year. Is it the one with flat painted looking finish or blued?

Does anyone know if the Belgian Congo issued ones were stamped or marked any differently from the general Belgian Army ones?
