I picked this one up yesterday. After a thorough cleaning I found out it's all matching! Bore slightly pitted, but oh well.

Gots me a nice, fully matched Gew 98 this month. Einwohnerwehr Bayern "EWB" stamped on the buttstock. 1917 Amberg. Even the cleaning rod matches.

I got this from a distinguished CGNer. A wonderful example of an unrefurbed matching 1944 5 groove longbranch. The bore is mirror.
