Forgive my lack of knowledge on the subject.
I thought any FULLY submerged firearm will fire normally? I may be mistaken.
How does it fire OUT of water also? they didn't demonstrate:p
I think a better example would've been this:
1)full auto fire out of water 2) submerges the firearm while still full auto firing 3) Lifts firearm out of water while still firing.
That'd be freaking sweet:p

I want one of those. You never know when you might find your self in a underwater zombie firefight.

Ever seen the teeth on a Muskie???

What the hell are those weird rounds they're using??

Short fat bullet would probably start tumbling in water, a long sleek bullet would be more prone to slicing through the water ? Looks like the actual casing is more normal looking, so maybe they just lengthened the whole action of a normal assault rifle to fit the over all longer bullet.

Notice in the movie clip, when the man fires the rifle, he has his head above water?
You have to wonder how much fun it is to fire that with your eardrums close by underwater?

Still, it looks like a cool toy. And, sure glad nobody is firing it at me.

At sea level, water is almost 800 times denser than air so anyone attempting to fire that might as well position the muzzle beside his ears because that's just how loud it will be. I used to scuba dive and hear explosions under water from blast fishing and I swear it sounded like my tank blew up. Yet the blast occurred unseen miles away.

The same density also assures anything short of a spear or torpedo shaped projectile will lose velocity fast.
