AR-15 and the shooting range

I have a fair idea of what happened here. Am I correct in assuming this wasn't a recent conversation perhaps a more than a couple months ago?

If so I am 98 per cent sure I know the people you were talking to. The phone at Galt rings in the office of the clay target cashier. The guy you spoke with was an employee of the club who managed the clay target fields. He isn't well versed in several aspects of the shooting sports.

While he might not know much about restricted rifles what he said about "rambo types" is bulls**t. If it's the same guy I am thinking of I had to straighten him out about the legality of a 14" pump gun when he told a shooter he couldn't use it on the five stand.

FWIW, the individuals with whom you spoke are no longer employed by the club.

Yah man I am not bull####ting in the least about the Rambo comment. I wanted to join Galt because I thought it would be nice to do some outdoor shooting and this #### turned me away.

The guy was just such a weiner and the first anti I had encountered in my search for a suitable club. I finally found Burlington and I like it alot.

Yah it was like maybe 10 months ago.

Buffalo Gun Center has great deals on Sentry Safes and it isnt far from Toronto. I drove there in my pickup, bought it and loaded it and then drove home. Might be less of a saving if you dont have access to a truck. Worth checking out IMO.

Nice place to go visit as well just dont go to the Subway down the street, nasty nasty place......trust me;)

If you are looking for a place to shoot your black rifles Google Ontario Rifle Association. Look under Service Conditions when you get to the ORA web page. The ORA will sponsor your ATT for DND ranges. Please note, your present ATT is NOT valid for DND ranges, so don't bring you AR's out to a DND range until you have it.

Now that I know the time frame I am 100 per cent sure who you were speaking to. Knowing this guy I have absolutely no doubt about your story.

Like I said earlier, he's no longer employed by the club and his comments didn't reflect any opinion other than his own.
