AR 15 barrel mesurment

hey gang, looking to buy a barrel shroud style fake suppressor from another cgn memeber for my ar 15 that is waiting for transfer ( thx cfc for the amazing transfer speed ... said no one ever ) but i need to know the length from the gas block to where the thread starts for the muzzle device, can any one with a ar 15 measure this please thank you.

What is the barrel length that you bought?

I've read they they fit ~16" carbine barrels.
I have a 16, I can measure it later.
