And it never arrives too
Don't know about that there is a gentleman in Medicine Hat that has the 14" Shrike system on his AR works quite well paid lots of money for it though is it worth it ? . I guess if want to be the only one on your block to have it money wont mean a dam thing

Lakeside's site says this: "We plan to begin product delivery beginning August/Sept of this year. " As far as I know, it's said this for more than a year, so which "this year" they're talking about is in question.

Unless they're already shipping and the web site is out of date?

Ares has been advertising the Shrike for seven years, and last I heard they had delivered THREE units, of something like 650 ordered. If your acquaintance in SK has one, he must really have paid for it.

My research reveals that a disintegrating link belt is not considered a magazine,

but only as individual rounds traveling in tight formation.

Oh really, I say your wrong...

PART 4
PROHIBITED DEVICES

(f) is of the "belt" type consisting of a fabric or metal belt, is not a reproduction and was originally designed or manufactured for the purpose of feeding cartridges into a automatic firearm of a type that was in existence before 1945.

Seeing that the link for the Shrike is for the M249 Law and made after 1945, Its limited to 5 rds. Also This topic allready came up before.

My wrong, what?

Without being an asshat, I'd appreciate the full reference.
