I see there is a couple of carbon cleaning tools out there for the AR-15 one is the CAT M4 and the other is the CRT-15 . Both look like they pretty good tools to have , now is there anyone here in CANADA who sells them? Or do we have to go to the US . Would be great if we could buy local I mean canada of course lol..

I've seen a couple vendors carrying the CRT15 scraper. Can't say I've seen anyone here carry the CAT M4. I use an Otis BONE tool which works well for my needs. I thought about getting the CAT M4 from Brownells but the Otis tool seems good enough for me.

Otis has a good carbon scraping tool in their bore cleaning kit. It's a multi function tool that cleans many area of the bolt.

On the two other ends of the scale...

In a pinch a piece of brass with the neck pinched. Or you can get an ultrasonic cleaner (3l models can also clean an entire pistol and can be had in the $200 ballpark). If you wanna scrape manually, definitely go with SSS... Dean's a top notch guy!

Running a Real Avid Carbon tool (google it) from Brownells....and it's kinda small and compact for the cleaning kit (nylon USGI old school style, not the compact Otis kits).

I also have that Magna-Matic bolt cleaner, but that one stays at home on the work bench when doing larger cleaning jobs (many AR's). I like the smaller Real Avid tool for matches/trips on the road. :)

Cheers and keep on helping them nooobs !
