I was wondering if any one has a suggestion on the best value for the buck with regards to AR-15 Flat top upper Iron sights. I am looking to order some hopefully soem time tonight but want some feed back on what guys are using and what they like. I am not interested in a detachable carry handle.

And if some one has some they want to unload let me know because i am in the mood for buying!

Thanks for all the great info in advance,
Gavin

Not te be a smart ass, but the best value for the buck, is to buy the best in the first place. There's a lot to be said about "Buy cheap, buy twice".

In my opinion, there are really only two choices, depending on whether or not you want fixed or folding:

1. fixed: Larue

2. folding: Troy

Either one will probably put you in the $180 to $200 range.

I beleive board members "suchee" and "cqb services" (gadget?) offer these brands.

You cant go wrong with either a Larue or Troy, and you definitly will be happy with either.

I'm using the 300m KAC and like it.

mmm, i have no problem spending money, but i also jsut want something till i fing the right optics that i like, thakns for hte info and the qucik responces, I am still thinking, let you knwo which way i go though

I would also recommend the Larue BUIS, they are extremely well made. They do not fold so take that into consideration. There is one for sale on this board under Exchange of Parts and Bits, the heading is (LaRue 7.0, BUIS, KAC 2stage trigger, PICS and PRICE DROP!!) Good luck with what ever you decide to purchase.
