arms east has or had some nice stag ones for 189 i believe . They are very high quality. Before you do anything.. take a dremel with a polishing tip and some compound and polish up the inside of the BCG. Do not remove a lot of material as it will lead to more issues but I almost guarantee its a burr . And yes spikes BCG'S with bolt are good

Yes they are. I have one in my Colt USA and no issues. They are close to $200 aren't they? Can't remember what I paid for mine. Make sure you check headspace. Norcs can be out of specs but you already found that out.
