Wow, I have never seen a bullet flattened like the one on the right of that photo. It just got completley squashed... Case, Lead, and all.

Face it, it's either a squib or an overcharge, but either way it was an AMMUNITION failure.

No way in hell it is an over charge the 223/556 case is at least filled to 80% Capacity and that reaches 60,000 CUP and I highly doubt that adding 4 or 5 grains of powder is going to acomplish anything except pierced primers. The Real culprit is acase that is less than 50% of capacity this results in a Flash Over which can result in a High Order detonation.
