I am not sure if I'll be doing this or not, but If I wanted to build my own ar-15 (a2 model). What would be the best place for getting the parts or a kit?
 
Do you want to create your own parts in a machine shop? or you mean build a rifle from pieces pre-assembled?

You can buy stripped lower receivers from a few places in Canada, specifically Wolverine Supply as well as ArmsEast, but they are both sold out. In fact every dealer in Canada is sold out of parts and pre-build AR rifles
, all because of the export ban in the US, they will no longer ship a bunch of stuff to Canada anymore, so people panicked and bought all that was left. Now you couldn't buy an AR in Canada even if you wanted to, you also couldn't order me because they have no idea when more shipments will arrive from the USA. It may be next year. You can find them used in the EE, but due to the shortage, people ask about double the price of what they used to be, some go as high as $2500, for a rifle valued no more than 1/2 that. Stripped lowers used to be $178, I recently saw one for $355 due to the shortage, now sold out though.

Yeah, I meant assemble it my self from buying pre-made parts. But I guess that isn't possible according to what you told me. That kinda sucks. I guess the government is making sure we can't have any kind of guns that would give us a chance to defend ourselves from any real threat. (They want to make sure that people have no good means of defending against tyranny of our government, and AR's would be one of the best overall types of guns for doing that)

Its not so much a "conspiracy" nowadays, these elite pretty much tell us what they are doing now, thats how brainwashed people are nowadays. People just need to take a look at the things going on and its very obvious that these social elite are planning to eliminate all freedom and liberty in favour of a one world totalitarian socialist dictatorship.

How do we stop them? Voting doesn't always work, just look at the recent US election. EVENTUALLY that will be us, and the worst part of it all, Canada will not reimburse any of us if they take Restricted firearms away. They won't be cutting any cheques, they just take our guns, and then I find a new country to live in.

Building a stock AR from pieces is going to cost you more than just buying one off the shelf.

If you want one tricked out there are a couple of options,
wait & buy one off the EE that someone else has paid the big bucks & is now selling for less,
or
buy a complete stock one, buy the mods for it & sell off the stock parts.

As for thinking that there are no AR's available because of the US restrictions, buy Canadian!

Dlask in Delta B.C. make their own AR15's complete with the US banned evil bayonet lugs & threaded muzzle.

Or go to Wholesale Sports or your local gun shop & buy a Remington AR.
 
I actually wasn't really looking to get any special mods on it, I was under the impression it was cheaper to by the parts and put it together yourself, and I also like the idea of building it myself. But if it is cheaper right off the shelf I'll probably just buy one then.


I notice that all they have that side are the carbines, I was actually wanting to get a full size AR-15, not a carbine (m4). Know anywhere that sells them?

Voting does absolutely nothing nowadays. They are already control who gets into the White House, your vote means nothing. That said, if I was in the US, I would have voted for Chuck Baldwin (Constitution Party), or written in Ron Paul. But I know that isn't what is going to stop the New World Order. Because your vote doesn't matter. Alot of people are forming local citizens militias in the US, and I think that is the only way to ever hope to stop them. Unfortunetely I think it is illegal to do this in Canada (that alone proves we are no longer a free country). But just stock piling up on guns and getting really self-sufficient, thats pretty much all we can do. And try to tell the blind of mass of sheeple who blindly support our corrupt government, the truth about what is going on.

I was actually looking for a regular sized ar-15, like m16a2 style, all they have on that site is the m4 carbines, do you know of any place I can get full sized AR's?
 
If you watch and wait, you might be able to put one together for a reasonable cost. Something to keep in mind is that not all manufacturers are equal, and there can be a problem with mismatched, off-spec. parts.
Watch the EE, bits do turn up, as do complete rifles, or complete upper and lower assemblies. Keep in mind that an AR has a lot of parts.

Yep everyone wants the flat tops & carbines.

I have a couple of A1's & a SP1 I'm going to sell as soon as I get time.
A guy was selling a A2 upper you could change to???

Do you mean the m15 rifles when you say that Wolverine has them?

and for your original question why not just buy a bushmaster or stag arms AR .. prob come out to the same price no?
