Hey !
This weekend I went to the range and i talked with somebody who told me a really interesting thing.

He told me that all AR-15 can be used with 10 rounds magazine because the SQ made an error when they registered the LAR15 like a pistol and they decide to let all model of AR15 be used with 10 rounds mag.
He also told me that we could find this information on the website of the SQ. I search for it but I could not find anything concerning that law...

Do you have any information about that?

thx a lot ! (Sorry for my English...)

Only somewhat correct.
The 10 round mag that people use in AR's (designated LAR-15). Is a pistol magazine. that happens to fit into an AR. The Magazine is stamped for a pistol. AR mags are stamped for AR's. Mags for use in semi automatic rifles are limited to 5 unless they are rimfire. Mags for handguns are 10.

Come on. Get real.

I did a quick search for LAR15 and came up with 4 pages of results including several threads on this issue.

Try doing a search before posting the same question for the umpteenth time.

Sorry if my question annoyed you, just ignore it.

Close this thread.

And in other news, the guy said english isn't his first language so cut the quebecer some slack. really.

And now I see you guys made him feel bad for asking a totally acceptable question. If people are tired of answering the same question over and over, then DON'T answer it, nor put in your two cents on how many times it has been asked. really.

Thx everybody for you answer!

Actually your question didn't anoy me.

Your laziness did :(

There are tons of threads on this forum with loads of info. It is so simple to do a little research to find info.

Do yourself a favor and try an search before you ask a question. If you can't find the info you want there is nothing wrong with asking for help.

You will be amazed what you learn while you are poking through search results. :)

Hey Reboot-me,

Common buddy, deep breaths....breathe, breathe, count slowly to 10 ...............

A little solidarity for your fellow gunners is a good thing, save that anger for a politician who isn't on your side

Huh???????

What do you mean "Huh"???
I think it's pretty easy to figure out. If we spent half the time we spent insulting one another over who's lazy, or who's a fudd and who's a tacti-dork, we probably would've never been in the situation we're in now. Fighting to maintain the scraps of freedom that we're left with.

Incase you were unaware of the word "solidarity", it means a union of interests, purposes, or sympathies among members of a group.

Could the original poster be asccused of laziness? I suppose so, but sometimes people just ask questions spur of the moment that are on their mind and hope that helpful people who share their same interests will respond in kind without having their head bitten off.

I like coming to this site because members here are generally full of helpful information and glad to help. I'm probably guilty of asking something that has been asked before aswell. A little interaction between people that share the same interests doesn't hurt. What a boring experience this forum would be if what you learned was only aloud to be conveyed in one thread and we all had to search for our answers.

So can someone answer me if this.... Can I hunt with an AR15 LOL!!!!!!! Just kidding folks. I know it's prohibited....... Hahahaha, just kiddding again LOL!!!!!
