I'm a lefty and with 6 ARs in the stable, none of them are a left handed model.
IMHO, You are better off adding an ambi mag release and safety selector to a regular model (I highly recommend Knight's Armament for both).
Shooting a right-hand ejecting rifle gives you decided advantage in stoppage and clearing drills, with zero deficit.
Re-sale on a lefty would be limited to individuals that are inclined to run such a set-up as well.
A carbine length gasser will do in a pinch, but if you have a choice (the difference if noticeable) get a middy.
Does Stag offer a middy? That would be a good choice if they did.
