These are made in canada and appear to have good reviews. No reason for these to be garbage simply because they are sold by a vendor who sells knock offs. These may very well be top quality products.

And to the OP, if you want a budget handguard either keep your eye on the EE (I just bought a DD Omega X 12" for 100$. The EE can be golden) or buy an ALG product. If you really want to cheap out and get a knock off, just get from ebay or dhgate. Same thing as sold for a sight sponsor but less money.

No reason why they would be quality either. As posted why take the chance on an unknown brand when you can run a known brand for a few dollars more. Places that sell knockoffs are generally interested in selling volume over quality, hence the knockoffs.

Would have been to good of a deal. What do you think, is it ok to go a little cheaper on a gas block? I know that it is the reliability of my ar but I am just curious.

im planning on getting the geissele so im not worried about getting a gas block... but i cant see there being much differents in a piece of metal with a hole though it

I doubt any vendor would admit to selling crap products but plenty of them do. It's a business and the mighty dollar speaks volumes.

I can also recommend the Midwest Industries handguards - Keymod or Mlok. CTCS Supplies carries them.

Used them on several guns and have had no issues with fit, robustness or finish.

I was going to go with Midwest Industries initially but ALG is about $50 cheaper.
