AR-15 to Swiss Arms magazine conversion development thread *New Video in post #51*

Ok, so I tested my revised and 3D printed prototype. Well over 100 rounds through it now with zero failures or issues. I'm quite pleased with the results so far, and will continue with testing in addition to making a 2nd prototype based on a Magpul PMag.

Hi there. Wondering if you are interested in testing the MAG block we built for the SIG classic. One installed you can use stranded AR mags in the rifles with no mods to the mag and still use then in all AR based rifles in the future.

If you are I would be happy to send you a test model to see if you like the design and get your feedback. Let me know and I can send it out next week for your review.

Hey looks like we're working on similar projects ;)

How is it shooting off the mag?

Can you still do rifle pushups?:d

Haven't got that far yet. I've refined the design a little more since the last video. I still haven't got around to having another prototype made. I may also change how it is printed and attached to the mag in order to improve strength.

I've also just started a mag conversion project for short action Savage rifles to take .308 AR mags. I'll probably post something in the precision rifles section when/if I make some progress.

I love these rifles, they are so easy to shoot and have almost no recoil. I went 5/5 a bunch of times on a 12" gong out at 300 yds prone today. Made 4/5 in the sitting position. No scope, just diopters. Even my wife kept ringing steel at 300.

Continuing with testing using a new and improved version of the adapter. I'll be running a few more tests and maybe making a few more tweaks to the design, but I'll be looking for people to test the adapters soon.
