Ar-15 vs ar180-b2

Theres nothing wrong with the 180b......you will find that most people that spent the bigger money on the AR will always tell you its a better gun....this is what i call
AR MANS SYNDROM......If you know your history the 180b was built to replace the ARs....but for political not practical reasons the 180 was scrapped to small countrys....iam always partial to a gun that does not foul gasses into the action....the 180 is an easy clean and break down....yes its made of plastic and stamped steal but i would trust dropping a 180 over any AR....SIMPLE IN DESIGN LIKE THE AK.....dont let people tell you that the AR is better...its just had the focus of the military for the last 40years and all its upgrades...and really its not much better then the first built ones.... the 180 is getting scarse now so buy if you want.....atleast you can take it to the bush....vrs plinking it at the range only!!!
 
DDR, nice take! I took my 180B to the range today, firrdt time out on the this virgin. I could only get PMC Bonze 55gr BTFMJ. At 50 Meters, I got dime size groups ajusting the ACCOG. At 100Meters, with my bad eyes, I got a little over an inch. The original trigger sucks, as well as the sights. But for the price, it is a bargain and NON-RESTRICTED!!! Watchh out gophers and cayotees! There is more fun to have with an AR platform as, one can choose a bunch of little tid bits to customize. But, it is restricted! But bang-for-the-buck, any 16 inch AR variant with some some good optics, is hard to beat for some fast shooting in a pistol range or in the sandboxe! And, it is fun!!!!!!!

i just got mine the mail last wednesday and took it to the range and ran 80 rounds of pmc and 15 win white boxes somebody had thrown out. I found as mentioned the trigger SUX, and with my iron sight at 50 yards it was ALWAYS high and left. It seemed like no matter how much i adjusted the sights it barely made a difference and at a 100 yards didnt even hit the papre. I like the gun though just going to have to get some optics a little sooner then i though is all.

PS theres no new ones left!! i got the last one bwahahahahahaha
 
Ar 180

I have no problems hitting my targets at 100yards open sight with my AR 180B, great rifle, had it for over a year. Fired some AR 15s too. Not impressed with them enough to say it's better rifle.

Well I have done alot of googling and have found that the 180 is nothing to sneeze at. Not to mention the non res. status being a huge plus as well as taking most AR aftermarket stuff. I will be getting one in the future.
 
NICE!!!!!! I really need one now after I went to the range with my Armi Yager ap74 which is very similar to the 180 and not only did it get alot of attention from other members but it was nice to shoot and easy to use. The utility of the 180 being non-res. is very attractive.
