Where did you get the Ferfrans 308?

Contacted and had some chats with Ferdie down in the States a little way back. After that I did a Personal import. It was already FRT'ed since it's Mega Arms that makes them for Ferfrans. This was among the last monolithic uppers they had before the LMT pattern scandal that made everyone redesign their mono upper.

Have not fired it yet, from the irungus thread, no issues reported. They even have a 762x39 version.

I just bought a CORE 15 / Adam Arms piston this week, I'll be hitting the range sometime this weekend.

What do people think of this deal? Specifically the rifle and it's quality.

Core 15 claims it was tested, and wont melt. We'll see.

That front sight will melt.

I've seen that one before...very nice. I think it would look good (IMHO) with a 5/20 also.

I would prefer an fde upper or whatever.

I saw caramels mk18 for sale and couldn't believe it! I've never seen a MK18 for that price. I was on the exchange the moment it was posted too.
I have wanted a mk18 for a long time, but recently decided I'm happy with what I've got (DD V9 LW, also a Norc 10.5" and a NEA 7.5" in 7.62x39). My DD is 16" and I'm cool with that.
Wolverine had that version (fde with magpul furniture) for $1500 a couple times and I've passed on those sales- regretted it too. Perhaps they might have it again

But the good news it. I just bought the upper from this rifle!
