This is a new M&P 15 (5.56) that made its way to me from the EE section. As much as I wanted a Tavor or T-97, being a lefty petty much set my fate for a typical AR. As you can see, I set it up for LH use.
The small red dot is off-set to 11 o'clock and the main sight is a 4x32 tactical with a reticle. It took about 10 rounds to sight in both sights, and then some playing around to get the best results for how I hold it. I was a little surprised at how accurate the rifle is. I was hitting a 12" plate at 200m on every shot using the 3.5 MOA short-range red dot! With the 4x32, 200m accuracy is child's play, even at rapid fire.

I will probably take off the front sight post and perhaps the fibre sight from the 4x32.

A new addition and a revision of the 7.5"...
First the Troy PDW stock to the wee one...comes in at 20.75"
And the 16" Dissipator build...Aero Precision ambidextrous lower, Bushmaster upper and barrel, Bravo Co. BCG, Colt Canada Buis, Seekins Pres. mag release button, Battle arms Ambi safety, and of course the green Canadian C7A2 furniture...DD lpk with reduced Trigger Spring kit from JP Ent....would like to find a od green cover for the Aimpoint, but have only seen a/s ones, and they are discontinued...but pretty happy with this!!

And Colt Canada Charging handle with Badger Ordanace Tactical latch.
I would like to thank the several CGN'ers closets I raided to get this off the ground... took about 5 months from start to finish.

That's the old vertical grip from the butt of a C9/C9A1.
Used to be lots in the back of CQ's...who knows now?

My new optic & mount arrived today and couldn't wait to install it! This is the latest evolution of my beast and she'll get dialed in on Wednesday. Leupold VX-R Patrol and Aero Precision Ultra Lightweight SPR mount.

I don't think budget was the problem unless that's a knockoff nightforce....
I'm new in this AR world but think I'll definitely stay a while! I wanted to have something to shoot tight groups with at the range, but that was different enough to my .308 wood bolt gun to keep me interested. Variety is the spice of life!
