I was in Vegas for a convention and stopped by Freedom Firearms and they had a damn Noveske Infidel 13.7 in stock... had to have it. Added a Vortex Strike Eagle 1x6 scope and mount. Its a nice scope for the money.... if i dont like it, ill get an Acog for this rifle and save the strike eagle for a future rifle. Probably go shoot it this weekend.

SJC Titan muzzle brake? I have the AR Stoner copy which works really well, so I can imagine the real deal must be pretty spectacular.
It is the SJC Titan. I tried a half dozen different brakes and settled on it, I have no complaints.

Just finished my C7A1 and C8A3 clones.
For the C7A1 an Elcan C79 was just out of my budget (and I'm not crazy about the sight) and I wasn't thrilled with the Diemaco rear sight. I instead used the Daniel Defense A1.5 sight which does a great job.
Also missing the FSB tri-rail on the C8, but damned if I'm paying $200 for something I won't use.

Not too bad for build it yourself clones. The Elcans are stupid expensive brand new, but occasionally a used one pops up here and there. A few weeks ago, two damaged but serviceable tri rails popped up on EE for pretty cheap.
The obsession for clone building will consume you if you're not careful, lol!
