AR-15's

Had a chance to shoot it a bit this week, 25 rounds only, on paper at 50 yards, inch and a half group high right, could not find Allen key to adjust at Range, then 100 meter gong, five for five by aiming a bit low left, not sure exactly where I hit on gong...but sound and movement very satisfying. Not disappointing at all for first time out, hard for me to shoot well off hand, used to pistols, guite a bit of weight difference. You should find the lower you have works well. Seems like a solid A grade for function, and fun.

Stand shoulders square to the target with a thumb over bore hold and butt high on the shoulder will make shooting the AR easier. Far different ergonomic mechanics to holding an AR then a hunting rifle. However once you master it and the comfort level increases you will quickly become efficient in shooting the "modern sporting" rifle.

Stunning! Details please.

Thanks...Truly a "parts" gun...DPMS lower w/ DD parts kit, a flat top upper i picked up at a gun show a few years ago w/ 14.5 barrel, A2 gas block sight and standard furniture. Swapped the A2 for a low profile gas block, added a 15" MLok handguard and an S&J Linear Compensator, MFT Minimalist stock and IMI Ergo grip. I had everything but the MLok hand guard and the gas block laying around...For optics, the P.E.P.R mount was a takeoff from a gun my buddy bought last year and the Nikon AR223 1-4x scope I took off of another AR. May upgrade that to a 1-6x...

Thinking this will be my 3Gun rifle for this year...

Fresh off of the EE.....first AR for me, keen to create some empty brass.

and look at that, the mag coupler 1) blocks me from using the maglula loader 2) gets in the way of my rail mounted knife....things that seem like a good idea at the time..well you learn from experience i guess

Colt LE6920

I have a carry handle I think I will put on it. It is so light as is, I don't want to mess that up.

I just always wanted to post in this thread really.

The rest of my black rifles...just for fun.

Just completed today. Can't wait to test fire.

Aero precision lower /complete upper
Aero precision 7.5" barrel
Midwest Industries handguard Gen 3 m-lok
Spikes Tactical enhanced LPK
KAK buffer tube /shockwave blade
Vortex Strikefire red dot
Magpul pro Mbus front and rear sights
Radian charging handle
SRC BCG
Odin Works adjustable gas block

What size is that MI handguard?
Would I be able to put that onto a S&W M&P 15 sport 2?
Would I need a different gas block? Any recommondations?
I am very new to this AR world.
