AR-15's

Here is my Canadian weapon of mass destruction, Assembled mostly myself

Picture_007.jpg

Left to right : RRA 6 position stock, Dlask lower, Colt M4 upper (kinda), Knights 300m BUIS, NHMG (Colt) mag, Knights RAS, Armalite lightweight chromed 5.56 barrel, Knights vert. grip, standard A2 flashhider.

Internals: Bushmaster chrome lined full circle bolt carrier, Colt bolt, Armalite AR15 trigger group.

Above: Elcan, Aimpoint Comp M2 XD on M68 mount

Pistol: SIG P226, no rails

Problems: Dlask lower seems to be offset to the right- the upper seems to hang more over one side than the other, it was not this way on the original Colt Lower.
Also, the buffer retainer pin hole was really tight and required reaming.
And lastly, the magwell chamfer or lead in is machined in such a way as to not allow Thermomold mags to be used without a slight mod to the catch on the mag.

Thanks for looking everyone.

Ahab,

The gun with the auto hole is a Colt RO634 like McCoy's. It is a 'commerical' variant of the RO635 Select Fire 9mm SMG - basically the gun was not engraved auto, and does not have a auto sear installed

I drifted out the 9mm mag block and am using it as a 5.56mm right now.

I have seen some cosmetic chnages done to guns that involved the drilling of an auto sear hole (but not hogging out the rear of the lower) and engraving auto - as logn as the gun does not have the potential to go f/a you should be ok
