Did some searching, and if it is a PISTOL mag it's limited to ten, but the Black Dog mags are designed as RIFLE mags. Think along the lines of the LAR 10 rounders for the AR 15, because they are designed for the AR 15 pistol they are still legal to 10 rounds in an AR 15 rifle.
I think removing the stock turns it into a pistol though, so it would perhaps need to be re-verified, or could you just phone the CFC? What do guys do when they build an AR 15 and need to change the gun's status from 'lower reciever' to 'rifle'?
I now want to do this, too. I have an Atchisson conversion kit I was going to sell when I get my dedicated .22 upper from Questar, but I could keep it and build a .22 AR 15 pistol with Stag parts.
What's the barrel length on yours? Where did you get it?
First URB I have seen in Canada. You and I share the same passion for cool toys. Wish I knew someone who would export it and ship it to me... Not a fan of the look of the stock when its extended, just like the 93, it looks, well, broken. Good thing is with these long stocks and the eye relief on the ACOGs closed or 1st position works perfectly, for me anyways.
Looks much more balanced with a full sized stock compared the CTR, exactly why I like my EMOD on my 16" Middy.
Thanks to all those guys who sold me parts... especially the boys at Reliable.
Can't wait to put her through her paces. The co-witness is stunning. With both eyes open I can't even see the frame of the red-dot... just the body of the rear iron sight and a nice little floating dot.
