Even for a .22, thats pretty freaking short. I'd rather have a pistol.... it would be smaller and do the job just the same.

heres the updated pics of my 16" AR...did a little Magpul to it.

still debating throwing a quad rail on there...then she'll be complete

Nice build, leave it like that and buy another one !! :p

Or like said, a Daniel Defense Omega 7 rail is very light, and drop in, so not too much trouble to put on and remove if you don't like it...

How do you like the MOE stock ? lot of "play" without the locking lever ?

Just put the MOE stock on yesterday so havent fired with it. I dont notice any difference in it between that and my old standard 6-pos stock so im happy with it! im just waiting for magpul to release their BUIS system so i can throw her on too! ill look into the DD stuff

My first AR still shiney and new. The only thing left on my immediate to-get list is a sling. Hopefully the weather will hold for this weekend so I can get to the range.

Stag 2TR 12.5"
Samson Star-C quad rail
ARMS 40L rear flip-up
Magpul MOE stock

Okay, this is the FINAL incarnation of this build.... that is, unless I score a UBR in FDE and change to that colour scheme... :)

I bought a J-point for the ACOG, and finally found the bottom strap to mount it on the TA31... it`s a sweet setup... I prefer it to the Elcan Spectre it used to wear...
