JD, I really like it. I got the idea on a carbine course. I really dislike single points as its like the carbine is on a single pivot point, and swings like a pendulum.

With the seperation between the two swives, it hangs dead straight down, and is easier to manage particularly durring a moving transition to your secondary weapon (usually your pistol), and its easier to keep moving, manage it, and keep it all in place.

Hope that makes sense.

Oh, that 16" is pretty awesome alright. Noveske has my vote for sure.

But your UBR and other attention to detail give off a much more polished look that my frankengun. Still missing a few pieces and its a bit frustrating.

Looks like you could use some FDE P-mags though.

i had a jam on there too.. pretty cool.. pity i will never be able to get one, but ah well..

i didnt add optics because they didnt have the option i wanted.. i would have chosen an aimpoint compM3 2moa in a GG&G cantilever mount about halfway down the rifle

also wanted a light grey Pmag to match the rail covers, but foliage green was the closest i could get :D

I've been mounting my front swivel just in front of the reciever on the rail. I'll give your method a go and see how I like it.

I agree on the single points, I'm not a fan either. I have a few buddies who like them for some reason though.
 
Here's mine:

Dlask 701 lower, CMMG upper. 1:7 twist HBAR, M4 ramps, Midwest Industries rail, and folding front and rear sights, Novekse knock-off muzzle brake, CAA stock and foregrip, red laser, Solarforce L600 light, etc, etc.
