That's the only riser I got with the M68. That and it allows the aimpoint to be mounted slightly over top of the BUIS

Don't think I'll ever get a magnifier. Just another optic that's powered. Like a Trijicon, Magnified Aimpoint or an El-Trash-Can

Why would you want the Aimpoint over top of the BUIS?? I mean if it were me, I'd want to be able to deploy the BUIS while still having the sight mounted, instead of having to remove the entire sight/mount assembly.

Personally, that is why I have the BUIS...so I can deploy it quickly if the main sight fails. Another added benefit of being able to use both at the same time is that if you are ever in doubt of your zero for either, you can simply use one to confirm the other through co-witnessing.

Just curious as to why you would limit your options.
