My latest builds and keepers. Just finished the 10.5 yesterday and test drove her today.

Specs on 10.5 300blkout

^Great work. I love paired rifles.

Mine are 14.5" as the shorty with a red dot, with its Brother a 16.5 wearing a Razor HD 1-4x.
 
Thanks and let's see yours! I've been collecting the parts for almost two years I love when a plan comes together. Still undecided on buis for the 10.5 thinking I'm going to try those magpul pro's or just go with fde troys. Also wouldn't mind getting some fde pmags before supply drys up.
 
I dunno if anyone is really interested in this sort of thing, but here's my XM607 build... Upper is true vintage heavy barrel (very heavy) Colt XM607 from Colt's prototype department. Proper vintage triangular charging handle and chrome "slick-side" BCG, all on an Sp1 lower. The wire stock is an M231 copy by DPMS, but I should have the real thing in time.

Fired it supported, but handheld, for 20 rounds @ 50Yds (10 were rapid fire), with iron sights only... The heavy barrel keeps them all pretty tight!

Just finished a build. The goal for this build was to:
  1. Build it myslef
  2. Decent precision, as i primarily shoot from a bench
  3. Keep it on a resonable budget
  4. Have fun!

Here's a fairly complete parts list and where most the things came from:
  • Aero Precision upper, lower (Saskatoon Gunworks)
  • Aero Precision nickel boron BCG (I Run Guns)
  • Rainier Arms: raptor charging handle, select 16" MEDCON barrel (One Shot Tactical)
  • Magpul CTR Stock (Arms East)
  • Magpul MAID grip, BUIS, ASAP, Enhanced trigger guard (can't remember where this all came from; a lot more magpul then i anticipated on this build)
  • Diamondhead USA 13" VRS-T free float rail (Wanstalls)
  • Geissele SSA-E trigger (Brownells)
  • Daniel Defence lower parts (Wolverine Supplies)
  • Bushnell AR-Optics scope
  • Burris P.E.P.R QD mount (I Run Guns)
  • Colt H2 heavy buffer (Brownells)
  • YHM 5C1 flash hider (CTC Supplies)






 
Pretty much any SBR, no matter the muzzle, my 10.5 LMT with A2 shakes loose everything that isn't glued or bolted down to a distance of 15+ yards in a 300° arc, including girl's panties.

I know, the UTG magnifier has to go, but on there temporarily till I can find an inexpensive Aimpoint one on EE. I've seen them sell for as low as $300 in rough but serviceable shape, so I'll just wait, not in a hurry.......btw, the 203 ain't real. It's for a wall hanger I'm building so I threw it on my AR just to see what it looked like.
