Heh, have you even got the crap issue BUI(plastic)S on there?

You just need to change the flash suppressor to the A2 bird cage style and that definitely would be a clone.

PS - How much did the Elcan run you?

  • a riser for the EO-TECH as the FTS on the 3X is about a quarter inch too high

and before anybody says anything about the bipod.. it's not a free float and it's probably not staying... And I still need to think about a trigger, I'll proably move the VG back a bit and the 3X and the 552 will get closer once I get the rise it's only on for kicks right now...

Solid construction, no different than a barrel extension. Just slightly larger than .223. Anything different could construe as a "altering the report".
 
As the can is basically a big chunk of metal with a hole in it and fancy graphics. Longevity, it will out last me.

I went to the range today and no problems with it at all...if you decide to buy one, make sure there are no obstructions in the can from the milling process, as my son says that will give you "big owies".

After 3+ months of waiting for all the junk to come in I finally got 'er done! 11.5" upper on a DPMS lower.

Magpul CTR stock, Midwest Industries MCTAR-FFR folding front sight, ARMS#40 BUIS, Midwest Industries MCTAR-24 10" freefloat handguard.

I was actually shipped the wrong front sight, the one in the pic is the MCTAR-FFG which is the gas block model and hence taller than it should be. I only realized this after I got it all set up... one look at the box the sight came in gave me the answer. Now I wait for the new one to arrive. :(
