AR-15's

Allllmost done. I am keeping it drop dead simple.

I wanted a full length 20" barrel rifle, without the 20lbs of tactical barbells that always seem to get slipped onto everybodys builds these days. This rifle is fullsize and lightweight. :D

The only things I may still do are: install a match trigger, add an EOtech, add a Magpul BAD. (I really like them.)

I am going to shoot her for the first time this weekend hopefully.

Aboslutely Beautiful!! I love the Simple look, Thats exactly how I Plan to do mine, But maybe with a CTR stock, Also have you Given any thought to the enhanced trigger guard? For somthing so little it adds soo much.

I have not looked into it, but I will take a peek at my own risk now I guess. :p

I just stole a BAD from one of my other AR's and installed it, and it just makes the rifle flow during mag changes. :D

I have to admit that while I'm not a big fan of the "classic" rifle, I really like what you've done with it!

What mags are those?

Nothing against quad rails, but I find that I do not get enough worth out of their weight. I am not mounting stuff on it like lights, lasers, launchers, IR, etc onto it, so the extra 1lb or so of weight just is not worth it to me. No picatinny needed on the handguard of this rifle for me, just under the rear sight in case I throw an EOTech on her.

The next generation of offerings seems to be offering "slimmed-down" quad rails, so maybe we'll see some substantial weight reductions to bridge the gap.

Photos of my 20" coming soon, identical to yours Kevin M. But with Daniel Defense MFR rail ( tubular, top rail only) and an Elcan up top. Oh and an enhanced trigger guard which as suggested by the other poster really works and looks good. Just waiting on one shot to ship ke the railw:h:
