Just finished painting my AR lower markings. Used testors model paint and came out very nice. Thinking about painting the griffon since its an NEA. Paint or not to paint? colour?

Anyone have any pics of a 7.5 barrel with a 9 inch free floating rail, with a Flaming Pig or like type FH/MB? Looking for pics for a build I have in my head.
I have a Troy TRX 9 Inch battle rail I'd like to use. But pictures with any 9 inch rail will do. Want to see how far the brake extends out past the opening.

I purchased most of the parts from NEA and SFRC (NEA Dealer). Got the rest from fellow GunnutZ. Got a barrel machined.
Thanks NEA for the Quality Parts. Test day and Barrel break-in is next weekend, 110gr Sierra HP, LC Brass, CCI400 primers, H110 powder.
Should be a good time.

- Adam's Arms Piston Kit
- Gunfighter Large latch changing handle
- 11" Viking Tactics Troy TRX Alpha Rail (cut for gas block - but my machinist cut it 1/2" too short on the top... so I'll need to replace it.. the bastard!)
- Magpul MOE+ & Aluminum trigger guard
- HERA CAR stock (Temp, will be getting milspec Magpul CTR in the future)
- Magpul ASAP Sling Plate
- Millet DMS 1-4.5 in a Burris PEPR QD mount
- Black CeraKote on parts that were once black, but after modification weren't black anymore
- Magpul E-Mags with Window (Neudered to 5 rds -SCREW YOU BILL C68!)

This AR has some of the best balance and handling I've felt... points pretty natural... It's her's now!
