My Christmas present to me a new Samson rail for my ASA
Reinstalled my 19 3/4 barrel to go with 15" rail. this thing shoots dead flat, and rings the 8" gong at 350m with ease

My Norc carbine. I added a Daniel Defence EZ Car Rail, NEA tactical latch, Magpul MIAD grip and an EOTech 552. Probably going to sell it off for a different AR setup in the near future

My first AR with virtually nothing done to it!! Have an extractor upgrade from Brownells.. the stock and a big old box of p-mags. Other then that she's just a shooter. What would be some good upgrades besides the expected comment... "A new gun"... lol

Also, how do people clean the DI gas system? All my other semi's have been either .22LR or gas piston based Red stuff (SKS and 858).

Put a quality optic on it, buy ammo, and shoot it. That's all the "upgrades" you need.

You don't need to clean the gas system.

Even though it's old school NV, I think it still works fine. It has a bit of fish eye around the perimeter, but that's expected for 45 years old and generation.

Across the fence, alley, corner of the school ground, and approx 150 yds with no ambient light, or moon into the neighbours garage/yard. 3.4 magnification.

This has the Israeli reticule and is compatible with all PVS4 and 502 reticules, ie. FNC1, TOW, M14, M16, etc. Brightness is adjustable.

Highly recommended.

Just saw this and am wondering about the designator you have on there. I am assuming it's visible and not an IR laser. I am running a Laserlyte K-15 Kryptonite on one of my RRA tactical entry models and was wondering how it might compare with your unit. I also used it in conjunction with an ATN Mars 6x, Gen 3A night vision scope when I was still living in Texas and hunting hogs on my 640 acres. Love that little unit but would have loved an IR laser even more!

I keep asking myself this question. but what the little triangle under the rail for?.. I see many gun with those and dont know what they do.
