ar 180b in terminator???

I was just watching the terminator on amc, and i realized it looks like he uses an ar 180b when he is in the police station. has anyone else noticed this?

I know its kindof a stupid thread, but if i was the terminator i think i would have chosen something a little more durable and reliable... :p

Actually I think the originals were kinda decent. Sterling in England used to make AR-18's, and even offered a sort of "Krink" sized version that looked quite handy!

Yet another of the Terminator's guns is an Armalite AR-18 assault rifle. The gun is used with the stock removed (like the SPAS-12) and with two magazines taped together in a 'jungle style' configuration. He uses it primarily during the assault on the police station and during the car chase following the motel scene. The script refers to the rifle as an AR-18, however the rifle he picks up at the gun store is supposed to be the civilian (semi auto only) AR-180 model. The Terminator novel refers to the T-800 converting the rifle from semi to full auto using tools stolen from a hardware store earlier in the day.

i would never take a su16 over a AR180. the su16 looks to cheap and plasticy for my likes. also the su16 are covered in screw and rivets holes wich make the thing look as ugly as me in the morning before my first coffee of the day. i will bide my time while i await the new run of Ar 180's cp:

hmm i remember that another rifle came across to the black rifle crowd as cheap and plasticy... what rifle was that again??? Oh right the ar 180b! LOL :stirthepot2:
 
Don't get me started on the I promise I won't kill anyone crap cuz we gotta be PG13 to make money. The helicopter scene with Conner firing back at the T1000 was great but the movie was a letdown from the completely raging original Terminator.
