I'd measure the I.D. of the rings so you know exactly what you have and go from there.

It's a circular hole. It'll probably be 1" which is the standard scope ring size, but may be 30mm.
Let's see a picture, they don't come with a factory scope mount so unless we see what you have it's hard to tell you anything.
I have a Stormworkz rail and an Armalite one piece cantilever mount that is for scopes with a one inch tube. I have a Burris 2-7x32 scope on mine but once I figure out what ammo it likes best I'm going back to the iron sights as I love how light and simple the rifle is without glass.

For those distances I would just keep it simple and stick to the iron sights. I've shot over 500 yards with the irons and they are pretty decent.
Mine came with a factory scope mount that was 1 inch. The biggest issue with the stock scope mount is making sure the mount is seated tight to the rear of the mount wedge on top of the receiver and that the spot welds of the mount wedge to the receiver are firm and there is no flex in it. After returning one receiver for a loose or broken spot weld and getting a new receiver back from Wolverine I gave up on the oem mount and removed it and mounted a length of picatinny rail on top with very fine thread screws and black epoxy which is not only rock solid but as low as possible and accepts all attachments. It would be really nice if the upper had a low profile rail built into it the whole length of the receiver so we could put a flip up sight on it and still be able to use a quick release cantilever mount with glass but on the other hand I really like the factory irons on this rifle, I think the only thing I would do to them is install a thinner front sight post for a little more accurate shooting with the irons. I think these are the best bang for the buck in the black non restricted 223 category here in Canada, it's too bad they were discontinued.
Just to clarify things the ID stands for Inside Diameter, which is what you actually measured.
Cool factory scope mount, although you may want to consider taking a look at the Stormwerkz picatinny rail as it would give you more options for rings, glass and even a quick release scope mount etc. (although I would keep that scope mount you have now as it will likely increase the value of your rifle if you ever decide to sell).
