Hello, I just got my ar-180b in the mail and it came with the factory scope mount but with no scope in it. I cannot find any details on what size the scope rings are on it and will any scopes fit on it?
I'd measure the I.D. of the rings so you know exactly what you have and go from there.
Cheers D
I have never measured the ID of scope rings before, is it the inside from top to bottom?
Buy a scope that suits your needs, not because it fits your rings.
What type of shooting will you be doing? Close range, 100yd bench, 200yd gongs, bush rifle?
I usually shoot around 100-150 yards at the local pit
I am also thinking of ditching my glass for the irons for the exact same reason -- and also a scope has to sit a tad high over bore to clear the rear iron sight which is not easily removable.Let's see a picture, they don't come with a factory scope mount so unless we see what you have it's hard to tell you anything.
I have a Stormworkz rail and an Armalite one piece cantilever mount that is for scopes with a one inch tube. I have a Burris 2-7x32 scope on mine but once I figure out what ammo it likes best I'm going back to the iron sights as I love how light and simple the rifle is without glass.

Does anyone know where I can source one of these mounts?
Stormwerkz has rails you could mount a scope on!
