AR 7.62x39mm upper

Where could I get one in Canada or does it have to be ordered in. Are there any around in Canada. Has anyone had any experience with them. Thanks

they don't like steel cased ammo. the coating on the shell casing sticks to the chamber and it the breaks the bolt.

OK idea if you could hunt with a small 30 cal AR15, but frustrating at the range . plus the mags are kinda sucky for the x39 guns.

stick to 223 or get a 22LR kit.

I was looking VERY seriously at a 7.62x39mm AR, but the problems I found were as follows:

-One of two FTEx problems: the coating sticks the case in the breach, or the non expanding steel case allows carbon fouling to build in the chamber, and sticks the case

-Special bolt assemblies better handle steel cased, but are only available in the states (read: fun with exports!)

-Mags aren't great (CProducts is coming out with a stainless AR mag in 7.62x39, but you'll have to wait until after ShotShow and until someone brings them into Canada)

But the ammo is cheap, and it would still be a fun gun to have!

Worthless without special AK mag taking lower, gas piston, and special bolts or a lot of spares. Get a VZ.

Have you considered a ruger mini 30?
I was looking for a 7.62 AR, but started
looking at the Ruger and hopping up a
SKS. ARs don't like cheap ammo.

VZ 58 for restricted ...CZ 858 for non...all the way.

a lost cause.. stick to .223,9mm or 6.8 or get a different gun,too many issues
