hello it,s 7 months since i have bin biulding my AR. and still waiting for my barrel. the speed is due to cake. but to my ? first i got lower and cfc sent my registation for the lower onley. with the barrel coming what do to get it registered as a finished fire arm. thanks joe.

If I am not mistaken it needs to be added on (barrel length that is) Just from asking the CFC when I was purchasing another upper and inquiring the legal issues of cutting down a short upper. I explained how I have multiple uppers and they explained that I could have many listed on my registration. Havent updated it yet I just leave the registered length upper on ( technically you have 30 days to notify them of any changes and since swaping an upper takes 2 seconds it wouldnt go anywhere but just for the sake of not beeing in trouble think from a police officers perspective investigating someone with an AR say with a 20" barrel registerd and he looks are your gun its got a 7.5" shorty on it... see where you could run into some problems. Its always better to take extra stepts to avoid any problems/headaches weather you are right or not. Seems it would take 2 minutes to call CFC and have them add your barrel length in.

no matter what you do the AR is restricted. 20 inch or 2 inch. don't waste your time. i've been waiting over two years for my updated paper to come for one of my guns. since then i've changed it a dozen times at least....
