AR Barrel Weights?

When an AR barrel is described as a "heavy" barrel, is there a standard OD for that? I know the standard M4 barrel is 0.750" OD at the gas block, but smaller towards the chamber end. Is a heavy barrel simply 0.750" OD full length? Bigger? If anyone has a guide to this stuff, a link would be most appreciated.

I think it varies a lot. I have one with an .930 gas block and a similar profile behind the block. I turned it down to .750 in front of the block to lighten it up.
